Quarq CinQo Power Meter
Quarq Technologies makes a new power meter that may just leave the rest in the dust. The CinQo is a crank based unit that replaces the spider on Sram S900, Rotor, and FSA cranks. It works with ANT+ computers such as the Garmin 705. Quarq has there own head unit but it has not hit the market yet. Using this system with the Garmin 705 is a great way to go since you get all the GPS data. The hardware is very clean and well made. The added weight is negligable and you can run whatever wheels you want. After the installation, which is relatively easy, everything just....wait for it...works properly. The only thing you have to do is calibrate the unit regularly and reset the torque before each ride. Reseting the torque takes about 5 seconds. We have had great feedback from those riding it and the reviews elsewhere are great. Check out there site here.
