“Why are we here?” part one:

There are a number of reasons but in the interest of maintaining everyone’s attention, we will break it up into segments. Here is one reason we are here:

For this installment we can talk about aesthetics. We offer custom bikes because we believe in aesthetic freedom. What looks cool? What looks fast? This is very subjective territory. Some people like traditional looking bikes with horizontal top tubes and some people like bikes with “aero” shaped tubes with sloping top tubes. Some people like red bikes or green bikes and some people don’t. Custom made frames offer cyclists the aesthetic characteristic they want. They do this while also maintaining a rider appropriate ride quality (we can talk about that later). The manufacturers we deal with have a wide variety of materials they work with and within each material they can tune the ride of the bike by using different tubes or different layups if its carbon. So, you want an aero tube bike that rides well for double centuries or you want a traditional looking round tube bike and you are an angry 200 pound sprinter, it can be done. We are truly starting with a blank canvas and can literally create a bike that looks the way you like. Going through this part of the process is a lot of fun for us. Going through all the different paint colors and schemes and creating something truly unique is something we feel everyone should experience at least once. Delivering a beautiful custom bike to someone is very satisfying. Remember that feeling you had when you got your first bike? That’s why we are here.
