2012 Assos Spring and Summer

Well folks, it's here. We just received several huge boxes of new product from Assos. Assos has a few really nice, totally new pieces for this spring and summer. As expected, it's incredibly nice stuff.

Some highlights are the new SS.Uno S7  short sleeve jersey for men. This jersey has a similar cut to the previous Uno jersey but has drastically updated fabrics and a couple of new details. One of the finer points in my opinion is the collar. The Collar is slightly higher in the back than traditional jerseys and is made of a fabric that contours the neck very comfortably. The fabric is highly UV protectant as well, the idea being to protect your neck from the sun without over heating. It's barely noticeable when you wear it and it works very well. Another detail is the super ventilated fabric under the arms. This fabric is a fine mesh like fabric that wicks moisture and allows for excellent airflow. The new fabrics are all exclusive Assos fabrics and perform extremely well. According to Assos, the main fabric in the jersey on the front and back dries 34% faster than it's predecessor.

Another addition to the line is the Women's S5 bib short. Women's bibs are not easy to do properly, Assos knows what they are doing.  These bibs are certainly a cut above anything on the market for women. The padding blows away anything else and they are super comfortable. Many women are hesitant to try bibs but rest assured, get in a pair of these and you'll never go back. 

Another addition to the women's line is a new short sleeve women's jersey. The design is similar to the new men's SS.Uno and they also make a sleeveless version. In fact, they do a sleeveless version for men too.
