Highlights from the Week

Here are a couple bikes leaving today. The first is a full custom Guru CR.901 TT/Tri frame built with Shimano's DI2 TT set up. DI2 is perfect in this application as it allows you to shift from both the brake levers on the base bar and also from the shifters at the aero extensions. The aerobar is the HED Corsair E which is a super clean and very well made set up. The wheels are Easton's EC90 Aero carbon clinchers. The saddle is the ISM Adamo TT version. Guru makes Time Trial and Triathlon bikes that handle better on technical descents than a lot of road bikes. Something some of the manufacturers out there seem to forget, sometimes there are turns on TT and Tri courses. The faster you leave a corner, the faster you arrive at the line!

The second bike is a full custom Parlee Z3. It is equipped with Campy Super Record, Rithey's top end cockpit and Enve Smart System wheels. We built the wheels in house using Chris King's recently introduced Campagnolo compatible R45 hubs with ceramic bearings. We used DT Aerolight spokes front and rear and the rims are Enve's new Smart System 3.4. The tires are Vredestein Fortezza Tricomp tubulars. The custom paint is for The Center Studio, a Pilates studio here in San Francisco. This bike is a work of art.
